Most narrow baffle down jackets are extremely light and packable but their many stitch lines leak heat in cold and windy conditions. The Baltoro completely removes this issue with a unique dual-layer offset baffle construction that’s backed up by heat reflective internal fabric. With only a marginal increase in weight, it offers a much higher level of insulation that makes it the perfect option for everything from multi-day ski touring to remote mountaineering and rock climbing on those freezing days with perfect friction.

Equally important is the cut, with a protective, helmet compatible hood and high collar, the Baltoro maximises your warmth even in exposed, windy conditions where many lightweight jackets start to let you down.

Our 700 fill power down duck is in the sweet spot of price and performance, offering excellent quality for all but the most serious use. Being down, it has a superb warmth-to-weight ratio, compressibility, lifespan, and softness.

Our DOWN CODEX® programme has set the benchmark for down sourcing in the outdoor industry since 2009. All our down is RDS (Responsible Down Standard) certified and using a unique bar code in each product you can track the exact quality of the down that you buy.

Drilite® Loft is our exclusive range of water repellent fabrics used in our insulated clothing and equipment. With a water repellent coating that offers genuine water resistance (a 1500mm hydrostatic head), this isn’t just a DWR that will wear off, and DRILITE® Loft fabrics remain highly water resistant throughout the lifetime of the product.

Offset construction products feature a unique design that enhances wind resistance, warmth, and comfort compared to traditional down products. With a heat reflective inner layer between the outer and inner fabrics, this innovative construction method reduces cold spots and ensures maximum heat retention but without the bulk associated with box wall construction.
